Mashed yams (sweet potatoes)
Scrub organic yams and cut in half
Put in pot with just enough water to cover
Add a pinch of sea salt and whole, peeled, garlic cloves to taste
Boil. Simmer til soft.
Pour out most water and reserve. Mash potatoes/garlic with fork. Add saved water to moisten to a consistency you like. Add a little sesame oil or butter to taste and consistency desired.
Optional: Sprinkle with black sesame seeds, fresh Italian parsley and serve.
